It might be the duty of every generation to chagrin the fads, trends, and technology of previous generations at some point as they mature and get older. It might have something to do with holding on to what makes sense and what feels good. Honestly, it might even boil down to our personal dependencies on our own private stash of hormones and endorphins. Don’t believe me… do you remember quicksand? Lite Brite? Playdough? Inspector Gadget….Beakmans World… TGIF! I think I’ve proved my point, What is my point you ask? All that I’m saying is that you like what you like and you don’t like what you don’t like. Speaking of what you like, what’s the best family sitcom…Go!
How about staying at home alone or being in the great outdoors… “Did you see what I did there?” Kids stayed outside for hours without cell phones and without their parents demanding location to be on so they could be tracked? Remember being raised by two parents or do you remember hearing that someone’s folks got a divorce, and being confused about what that actually means. People didn’t even like to say the word out loud in public and it was always a secret if you knew someone’s mom and dad were on the verge of it?
In the ‘60s… ‘70s and ‘80s heck even in the ’90s it was incomprehensible Divorce. In the modern world men and women who have children together are more likely to not be married. If they do get married it is only because enough time has eclipsed in their relationship that they are common-law husband and wife and so they mine as well take the plunge. I get the feeling that I’m wading in to the deep here or at least I am getting severely sidetracked. I read an alarming statistic from a law firm in San Diego, CA that stated .“Almost 50% of all marriages in the United States will end in divorce or separation, 41% of all first marriages end in divorce…60% of all second marriages….73% of all third marriages.” Out of all the countries in the world, the United States of America has the 6th highest divorce rate, per the same California law firm. 1
My point here was in 1962 the statistical divorce rate in the United States was 22% of all marriages ended in divorce and now it is very close to 50%. So, what happened? 2 That got me thinking about what else has changed in the last 50 years that might be positively or negatively impacting our society. I think it is only proper to start at the obvious end and work our way back, into the great mystery of our time. Maybe there will be no logical correlations, maybe everything will finally make sense!
Who could have imagined that 2 years after January 2020 it would feel like the end of the world was upon us? I’m only partially joking, well honestly I might not be joking at all! Ask anyone these days and they would tell you that something weird is happening, it just feels like the whole world is on fire. We could probably camp out on what has transpired within the years between 2020 and 2022 but lets not go there, or at least not just yet. I’ll just say what’s on the tip of everyone’s tongue, at least the people who are still reading this rather lengthy opening statement.
Covid… Covid… Covid… It was the key to Pandora’s box and now it is open; it was opened on purpose and what happens next will be on purpose too!
Whew… paid off the subtitle… now I can concentrate on the rest of this thing! To be clear I’m just a guy living on planet earth in one of the most prosperous countries to have ever existed ever. I’m sure there are lots of entry points into the conversation that I am endeavoring to have with you. I’m sure there are 1,000’s of life-altering moments that have happened all around the earth in nations that I never knew existed. But as it relates to me and more than likely the lion's share of citizens in the United States of America. It seems like since this one very specific event, life has not been the same, and it feels like everything that has happened since this specific event has been orchestrated, planned, and on purpose. Have you guessed the event yet?
I’ll give you a moment to think about it. Boy, I wish I could be there in person with you to banter back and forth about a couple of important events in American history. I’ll drop a photo for a hint but I’m sure you’ve guessed it now and you don’t even need the memory jogger.
You got it, September 11th, 2001 or more commonly known as 9/11. It was the single worst terrorist attack in American history. It really doesn’t matter whether you subscribe to the possibility that 9/11 was a US government conspiracy or you’re in the camp that believes it was just another archaic act of senseless cruelty propagated by religious fanatics. One thing remains clear this 4 part attack on the US’s financial nerve system was planned by someone and their main goal was to strike fear in the heart of the populous of the United States. Their second goal was to break the financial system at least temporarily and they accomplished both of their goals; the terrorist attack caused financial instability across the globe. It literally was an all-out “emergency” in the heart of the US and it seemed to be felt the whole world round. It has to mean something that the date in numeric form minus the backslash literally means 911 “emergency.” Nine One One… alert… pay attention, take notice, and don’t ignore this, matter of fact you can not ignore this event. Unlike any other attack on our nation in recent memory September 11th seems to have held our attention and captivated us in ways we could not have even imagined. How could it not?
An unprovoked and premeditated act of mass murder in the name of some sort of religious war in which Americans were simply not engaged. This was a 4 part plan on unarmed human beings; Men, Women, and Children.3
The attack was focused on 3 separate locations with the initial combined attack; 2 planes flew into NewYork city airspace and collided with 2 separate World Trade Center skyscrapers. The “Twin Towers” was the financial nerve center of America and New York City, arguably the most prolific city in the US and especially at that time. Another plane “the 3rd” was assigned to target the United States Pentagon; the seat of American military might. The 4th plane was supposedly headed for the White House, though sometimes reported as an undisclosed building in downtown Washington, DC. That plane was retaken by amazing and brave US Citizens, who gave their own lives in service of defense. In defense of their fellow citizens and family members and in defense of what could have been the loss of the leader of the free world. They willingly sacrificed everything with the hope of preventing a greater tragedy than the loss of their precious and incalculably valued lives. In the face of unknown forces, they decided to take control over their circumstance dying that day as heroes. That plane crashed in an open field in Pennsylvania it did not achieve its original objective. On this terror-filled day, 2,996 souls were lost and over 25,000 people were injured this was the event that changed everything, nothing has been the same since that day in 2001.
In 2018 Dr. Michael Crane wrote in an arctile “Seventeen years out from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, nearly 10,000 first responders and others who were in the World Trade Center area have been diagnosed with cancer. More than 2,000 deaths have been attributed to 9/11 illnesses. It will get worse. By the end of 2018, many expect that more people will have died from their toxic exposure from 9/11 than were killed on that terrible day. “We’re nervous,” said Michael Crane, MD, MPH, director of the World Trade Center Health Program Clinical Center of Excellence at The Mount Sinai Hospital. The average age of a 9/11 first responder is now about 55. While many people face a cancer diagnosis as they age, the rate of some cancers among first responders is up to 30 percent higher than in the general population”4
My goal over the next couple of conversations with you, is to go on a journey through the mist and facade of what has been cast upon us. As we research the anarchy of history space and time trying to understand the mystery at work behind the scenes, and the people and or entities orchestrating the tragedy that seems to be fast becoming normal; join me as we begin Researching Anarchy.

Nice Read. I knew you would have some insightful ideas. When you look at the changing nuclear family unit in America, I can think of three factors that I would say contributed to these changes. 1. Secularization of America 2. Moms having kids out of wedlock and getting open ended government support checks financially undermining the necessity of two parents. 3. Women entering the work force and moving towards equality in employment opportunities for the sexes. I’m sure one could write a whole essay on each of these and their long term ramifications and there’s probably more structural reasons that I’m not thinking of.
