How Should we Respond?

Donald J. Trump, clearly the Republican front-runner for the 2024 Presidential race, was just booted from the Colorado State Primary Ballot.¹ While it is widely believed that the decision will be thrown out on its face, it has many people asking the question of what would happen if several states followed suit. To some, it seems reminiscent of the 1860’s Presidential race², when Abraham Lincoln was excluded from a portion of state primaries. Folks, we are not in uncharted territory, America has been in this moment once before, and the cost was far too great.³
